Jacob Goldman



Jacob Goldman is a sound artist and researcher whose work revolves around the artificial voice. His current interests are in the semiotics of natural language processing, historical imaginations of vocal disembodiment, and the mimetic drives of imitative technologies and their phenomenological effects. He holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts, and a BA from New York University, where he studied music with Joan La Barbara, Morton Subotnick, and Rhys Chatham.
